My place will probably never win an award for modernism, but it is comfortable and in a terrific area. Chewy (the cat) and I have one (only) room to rent for $160 per week. I live in a low set house on the high side of Corinda , which is 4-5 minutes easy walk to Corinda train station, Coles, coffee shops and other shops. This is a very pleasant area with wonderful neighbours, many of whom are quiet and either professional, retired or aged. My house is furnished, although feel free to bring in extra items to make yourself feel comfortable. I have a decent sized fridge, a microwave and a fairly modern washing machine you can use. There is a TV in the room available. There also is a third room which can be used as a study. However, you will have to park on the street. The house is not perfect, and some things are old fashion, but it’s a nice place.

Everything is with in walking distance of no more than 15 minutes, woolworths, butchers, multiple bakeries, pub, bowls club, drinking range if you like your golf, golf coarse, train station, the list goes on. I am also located 1 minute walk from a large park which attracts a few people and gives atmosphere to area. Most people know, or know of each other in the street. There is also a second toilet and lounge room downstairs. Decent back yard and a lovely veranda out front that looks towards town, across the park and down the creek, very peaceful and great stop for a beer or wine. Plus I'm a pretty fun easy going person who works hard Monday to Friday, but still likes to enjoy his weekends. The house is furnished, but that can always be discussed. The bedroom is empty. You'll be sharing the house with myself, my dog and three fish. Dogs may also be discussed, but no small dogs. The dog is an inside dog, she basically runs the house. Very good guard dog, but also very friendly once she is introduced to anyone. The house is swept nearly every night as its timber floors and takes 5 minutes to clear any dog hair. She lives outside when I'm out and is not allowed on couches. Very well behaved ammstaff. So if you've read all the above, then I presuming you may be interested, please know and understand that I'm not looking for just any person, we will need to meet and as we will be living under the one roof, I'd like to think we'd get along. I'm very outgoing and often away once or twice through the week. What else can I say, there's table tennis and darts downstairs, I enjoy a bbq or dinner with mates now and then, (which you can feel free to entertain and do the same), foxtel is available, Internet is $30 each a month unlimited, aircon in all rooms (which I try not to use), two air cons in lounge (don't ask), anyhow, I think that's enough crap and should you be interested we can discuss further. The house is only a 5-10 minute walk from Darra station, which is one of the express stops to the city. It's a quiet neighbourhood for the most part with not a lot of big parties going on. The house is spacious so you're not in someone's space all the time. We rent privately and the landlord tends to leave us alone for the most part. He does have a couple of rules for the house (no candles - previous tenants burnt the house down) and we're responsible for part of the water bill. We do have internet and Foxtel, and a big backyard. The house is fully furnished with the exception of the bedroom we're trying to find a roomie for, although you may want to bring a small fridge.
