We are leaving our home and moving into a bigger place in Stafford Heights on the 1st of December. Because our new place is 4 bedrooms rumpus, we have decided to put one of the rooms up for rent. The home has a large entertaining area out the back and a large deck off the kitchen looking over the pool. There is 1 Main bathroom with a bath an ensuite so you will have to share the main bathroom with one of us. The home is wooden floors throughout and there is ample cupboard space in the bedrooms (you can choose which one you prefer). The kitchen will be shared and all amenities provided including a washing machine and fridge and all kitchen appliances. This house is in a lovely quiet neighbourhood - 1 street from Huxtable park if you like running (Also gym equipment in the park) It is a very relaxing house with ample space to have some 'me time' kept very clean by all current tenants. The Main room (largest) is currently available [3.6 x 3.5m] It has both a fan and newly installed air-conditioning as well as ample built in wardrobes with hanging and cupboard space. It has wooden blinds on all three windows in the room. I have uploaded three photos of the main bedroom available - As can be seen easily fits a desk + char, another comfy chair, bed and ample wardrobe space. Netflix is in the lounge (on 60 + inch TV) is included in rent and readily available. Unlimited internet is also included in rent. Electricity is currently split three ways between tenants. The house is walkable distance to The Prince Charles Hospital, Holy Spirit North Side Hospital, QAS (~800m away). Coles plus a lot of a specialty stores is a short walk (~400m) at the Stafford Heights Centre on corner of Rode Road and Appleby Road - I walk to get my groceries :) Also local take-away/cafes there. The real selling point of the house though is the back deck and pool which I am eagerly looking forward to spending time in this Summer! The pool maintenance and yard maintenance is all conducted by myself the owner/occupier.

In regards to public transport, there's a bus stop right on the main road (2 minutes walk from the house) and the Alderley train station only a 10 minute drive away. The house is located on a peaceful street with no traffic noise, and no noisy neighbours. It is a 15 minute drive into the city making this a very central location. It is close to Stafford City and Rode Road Shopping centres and not far away from the Everton Park Shopping Complex and the Chermside Westfield shopping centre. The house itself has a nice city view from the large veranda, and has air-conditioning in both kitchen, living room, and each bedroom. There is also a one car garage if you prefer off street parking.

The house, except for your room, is fully furnished, but there is plenty of storage for any extra furnishings you might have. We have a pool outside which is perfect for summer, and maintenance is handled by the landlord. The downstairs area is currently unused but does have a bar area and another small room. We've been wanting to turn it into a little chill spot, and would love for you to be able to help us with this. The room is carpeted, and has a built in desk and wardrobe. There is an abundance of storage space, so all you'll need to bring is bed! The window lets in plenty of natural light and the room doesn't share walls with any of the other rooms :) *Your room is currently being used as a study. Cameron, the autist, does have a cat, Atlas, and he's a little shit, so another pet is probably not possible.

I've had a great time living here because the house allows an environment that's social but you still get your privacy. The living room and kitchen has natural lights and is all well spaced and easy to share. There's couches and tables under the house which are good for socialising down at and a great (but not pretty) gym which I routinely train at. The backyard has tables and seating for bbqs. I'm keen to get some people over who will be fun to live with, respectful and clean.

The unit is on a main road, however at the back of the property so there is minimal noise, especially when the doors are closed. Its a short walk to Prince Charles hospital, Chermside bowls club, netball courts and Westfield Chermside is a 3 minute drive. The room available would fit a double size bed with space around to live comfortably, or a queen and one beside table. You also have access to the main bathroom which is accessible from a door in your room. There is some storage space in the garage if you require it! Sorry no couples. This unit is on the top level of the apartment block and has a huge balcony overlooking Bradbury Park, the view is gorgeous! It includes modern furnishings, both bathrooms and the main living area have airconditioning units and included in your rent will be a private lock up storage space. I like to keep it pretty clean and tidy most of the time but being a small unit, it doesn’t take too much effort to do that. It is a pet free unit. The only downside of this unit is that wifi isn’t available due to a lack of ports but a dongle or phone data works perfectly fine. The washing machine and dryer belong to my housemate so I will be looking to buy/rent those but if you have either or both and are happy to bring them with you even better! The bedroom is unfurnished so you will need to bring your own bedroom furniture, however, the rest of the house is furnished. (apart from the washing machine and dryer as mentioned earlier)

The Flatmate will have their own private room with a private deck looking out into the back yard and their own bathroom. The bathroom is detached from the room and is the main bathroom for the house.
