Templestowe is a great area to be located, approx 20mins to city by car (non peak times), also a bus stop at the front door. 5min walk to Templestowe Village with an abundance of restaurants, cafes, and an array of shops. House backs onto Westerfolds Park which has ample outdoor space for that morning walk or hitting the mountain bike tracks. Less than a 10min drive to Westfield Doncaster and Eastlink Freeway. Great thing about Templestowe is being centrally located to other areas of Melbourne. About me - Easy going gay guy who is pretty relaxed, enjoys my time at home, however also spending time with family and friends. My background is hospitality and run a small business consulting, and to fill in the gaps work casually as an functions and events operations manager for a couple companies. Every week is different as to days / hours I work so in and out of the house a bit. I have an 5 yr old son (helped out a long term friend with her quest to be a mum). He doesn't live with me full time however have him as much and when I can. When he is with me we stay with my folks who live close by, he is rarely with me at the house, more so if I am dropping in to do or get something. Based on my work and time with my son there are some weeks when I am hardly at the house, in particular over the weekend as this is when I do my casual job and potentially have my son. I would consider myself a clean and tidy person. Admittedly I would say I am a little OTT, however I have learnt to relax a little, but I can't deal with people who are lazy, don't clean up after themselves or contribute to living in and maintaining a clean place. About the House / Room: Its a modern two bedroom open plan living townhouse. Downstairs you walk into a large lounge room then its split level up to an open plan dining and kitchen area. Laundry and powder room also on this level. There are some french doors that open to a small courtyard (work in progress), and townhouse has parquetry floors throughout. There are two bedrooms upstairs. The bedroom available is roomy and has access via sliding door into own bathroom (en-suite) with shower and bath. The room has built in robes, ceiling fan, TV access point, reverse cycle air-conditioning and access to shared balcony. There is also a car port with parking space available Townhouse has central heating (on top of reverse cycle air-conditioning in bedroom), cabled wireless internet, Foxtel point in lounge room down stairs (not connected). Household bills to be split which include Electricity, Water, Gas, Wifi Ideal Flatmate: A relaxed easy going person who is clean and tidy, likes to converse a little and have a laugh, but at the same time likes their own space. The property is in a nice part of Doncaster East near a school, so it’s quite safe. Across the road from a park, a few minutes up the road from The Pines shopping centre. Back from the road on a side street with plenty of on street parking means it’s very quiet as well. We have a great ducted heating system, an air conditioner upstairs, lots of shared spaces, Amazon prime, Stan, and Netflix available too.
