You will be living with two males (Paul and Duncan) both in our forties. The house is located on Raleigh Street, Thornbury 3071, it is situated between High st and Victoria St, there are several bus stops nearby and the train and trams of High st which are about a ten minute walk away. Thornbury has plenty of shops, bars and restaurants and every year is getting more and more popular and it’s a great location, our street is very quiet as is your room. We are social and the backyard lends itself to entertaining, and every few months we like to host a BBQ/Party for close friends, and you are certainly welcome to invite friends over use the BBQ anytime, there are even DJ decks you can use if you own any vinyl. The house itself has a decent sized lounge with a massive flat screen TV, we have Netflix, internet and all that jazz, there is a separate dining area which joins onto the kitchen which has an awesome six burner oven, the inside bathroom has a shower and toilet and there is a second outside toilet as well which is great when having guests over. Lots of plants, polished floors, fully furnished (except for the bedroom on offer) and a big wardrobe in the bedroom. The bedroom on offer is a natural light-filled room, large enough for a queen bed with no street noise. Large inbuilt robe with lots of storage. Carpeted bedroom with air-con. It's located near Victoria and Separation Streets; 2 mins walk away from Northcote Aquatic Centre, a few mins walk away from Northcote Plaza, High Street shops / cafes and Station Street shops/cafes. 5-10 min walk away from Dennis train station, though there's also access to buses, Fairfield train station and the tram on High Street too. A couple of large parks in walking distance too if you like exercising outdoors. There's no garage available but there's on street parking without the need for a parking permit. I love animals however unfortunately the house isn't really suited to pets. Bills are split between two. Water usage, electricity and internet. We have a room going in a 3 bedroom conjoined house in Northcote. The room is quite large, with plenty of room for a double bed, clothes racks and/or wardrobes. It looks out onto the front yard and street and gets loads of afternoon sun and thus, is quite hot in summer. The house has a nice big kitchen, lounge and yard, 2 toilets, shower (with good water pressure), close to multiple public transport options and a nice big park is located up the road. A gas heater in the lounge works magnificently as does the washing machine in the laundry. There's remnants of a veggie garden and compost in the back yard plus a shed. The veggie garden could easily be resurrected. Also a very important feature is fairy lights. Ringing the backyard. Looking for someone early 30's and up. You'd be living with a late thirties, easy going, well-adjusted guy who is working and a mid thirties gal who is also well-adjusted and working.
