The two rooms that are available, the first has its own private balcony and is huge. The other is also huge and relatively separated from the other bedrooms and has a large window out to the street. The whole place is gigantic and we have done the difficult stuff and furnished all the common areas. The bedrooms are very spacious and bed 1 has built-ins. The kitchen is gas (yay, big win) and there is a nice large common area. The location is also incredible, right next to Redfern station, one of the best stations for getting anywhere in Sydney. Really all you will need is a bed and your stuff.

The Room - itself is a well maintained study area that I've converted into a cosy living space, it is pretty basic as you can see in the photos - single bed, desk with drawers for light storage, lamp and a small closet with space for hanging (not pictured at the time of the photos). If you have your own bed, then I can move the single bed out. The room does not have a door, but rather has two sliding doors that you close off. These sliding doors have temporary blinds attached to them so that I can't see in to the room so that it indeed maintains an element of privacy. The Apartment - is incredibly modern, contained within a very secure apartment complex that is only approximately three years old. As you can see from the photos, the space is very new, clean, well maintained, modern and spacious. Great bathroom, shared with me, great kitchen facilities and a washer/dryer for your laundry needs. Huge open living room, I have a 55 inch brand spanking new Samsung TV (which I love like a son...) at your disposal (the old TV is in the pictures, this is now in my bedroom) with access to free to air television. However, I also have a laptop hooked up to the TV with wireless mouse and keyboard, Netflix access and high speed internet access - so you definitely have viewing options whilst here! The Complex - is fantastic. Exceedingly secure with key card access required to get in and out and locked gate out the front of the apartment. 24/7 doorman/security working the complex and front buzzer/intercom for guests. Wheelchair access via elevators as well. The Amenities - are plentiful. The complex has an in house gym, indoor 20 metre lap pool, hot spa and sauna open to all residents and guests. Personally, I'm a bit of a fitness fan, and I use the gym most days for a great basic workout, it has light free weight options, and an all in one machine which one can do heaps of exercises on, as well as an elliptical machine, treadmill and two exercise bikes. The pool is well maintained and the sauna works just fine. The Shops - are about 50 metres from the entrance to the complex. So you're approximately a 20-30 second walk away from the massive, brand new East Village shopping complex, calling that convenient doesn't even come close to doing it justice!! Huge Coles grocery store, pharmacy, liquor store, newsagency, butcher, farmer's market, sushi, dumplings, restaurants all right next door! The Location - Zetland is one of Sydney's newest and most modern developed suburbs! It is ultra clean, very safe and really does look brand spanking new due to lots of recent development. The area has shopping and eating options easily within walking distance and is just 10-15 minutes ride from Surry Hills and the CBD. The Transportation - is right at the front door step. Opal cards can be purchased next door and there are multiple bus stops right outside the front entrance with a number of buses that can take you into the heart of the CBD, which is about a 15 minute ride away. Buses from out the front also connect to Bondi Junction and North Sydney. The nearest train station is Green Square which is approximately 10 minutes walk from the apartment and is just one stop from Central Station! Taxis also drive by the entrance on a regular basis. The Cats - are adorable and incredibly well behaved!! People who have stayed in the past have had no troubles whatsoever with the three furry little co-tenants that wander the premises. Elmo, Lucky and Bubba love meeting new people and are very inquisitive, friendly cats. They'll poke their head in your room, affectionately rub up against you and sit/sleep with you at times if you like, however I don't mind at all if you like to keep them locked out of your room as well. I have a self-cleaning kitty litter machine in the bathroom which they use, and this gets cleaned out regularly to avoid any lingering kitty smells. They generally just wander the house quietly when awake, but obviously sleep the majority of the day, so you'll hardly notice them unless you want to! If you don't like cats, or are allergic in anyway, then this is not the listing for you, sorry! Guests often mention that the kitties were an amazing bonus to their stay!! We have a pool in the complex, You'll have your own bed room, bathroom, and balcony. Washing machine, Dryer, dishwasher, Kitchen with gas stove, fridge and microwave, living room with TV and Netflix and sofa couch are already here and balcony too off the living room too.. To top it off, all bills are included in the rent. Only down side is there is no oven but I'm working on that. Also if you have a car, there's no parking space for the complex but there's a lot of streets around.

We would like to avoid a problem that has happened to us with this person: The price shown ($600 and only a few bills) for this room is crazy and indecently too high, renting the apartment being about $710 per week. At first glance very nice, this guy is dishonest and is a thief. Some examples: he will eat your food, he will reproach you for things he does himself, he will say ok for long term rent while he will be leaving on April, he will accuse you for his own delay on the rent, he will not hesitate to KEEP YOUR BOND for NO GOOD reason ... And we will pass over all the other unpleasant things. We had a very bad experience, you should definitely stay away.

My awesome apartment is in the heart of Zetland. Just 30 seconds walk from Eastvillage are all the amenities including Coles, Butcher, Bank, Chemist, Virgin Active, and a load of restaurants and bars. I am only 10 minutes walk from Green Square station which connects to the Airport and city. Here is a bit about the apartment: The kitchen has a smeg oven and dishwasher with granite bench tops.The dining room has a brand new dining table that seats at least 6 people. The living room has a big chaise lounge that seats at least 4 people to watch the 65inch TV Netflix, Foxtel and an epic sound system.
