The interior is beautiful and bright, the kitchen is shiny and easy to clean, AND we even have hooks for our pans to hang up, which my friend pointed out means we are "real adults." We even have one of those magnetic strip thingies to hold our metal ~cooking utensils.~ The little things I love most about living here: beautiful furniture and artwork, a spacious bathroom that I savor my showers in because it feels like something from Better Homes & Gardens, we have a really nice vacuum & plenty of cleaning supplies, and I do believe an espresso machine has just arrived in our kitchen... Last but not least, we have a spacious backyard with a swingset and tire swing and garden and patio, perfect for afternoon hangs and chats. Also, Ollie! He is my housemate's dog and you'd get to share the space with him too. <3 <3 <3 Oh, and we're a few minutes' walk away from Watson shops (grocery store, the wonderful coffee shop The Knox, and a few restaurants), and relatively close to Dickson shops. And close to the 39 and 200 bus stops to the city. The neighborhood is beautiful too, green and leafy and lots of families and pups. We have off-street parking! Overall, this is one of the loveliest places I've lived, and friends, whenever they visit, always remark at how great the space is. Beautiful renovated detached house in Downer. The house has a huge living space and big yard, so lots of room for activities. there is also a huge garage for storing random things (however we are considering buying a table tennis table to spice things up). there are plenty of car spaces and parking on the street. Excellent location! A cozy little old place snug between the Dickson shops and the Ainslie shops (5mins to both) and 15mins from the city/ANU. It's an easy 20min cycle into the city along very good bike paths, which I do most days. Quiet neighbourhood with friendly neighbours makes this a lovely spot to relax after a hard day working. There's plenty of parking for yourself and any visitors. Few FYI points: - The room is unfurnished and we’ll post more photos ASAP :) - There’s a chance the real estate will increase the rent in the coming months to align it with market value. So the room rent may increase to $190-$200. We’ve been living here for 2yrs and decided to stay because the rent will still be reasonable for the great location.

The house is fully furnished, so new housemates will only need to bring their own belongings and linen into the house. A great house on quiet street. Recently renovated. New kitchen and bathrooms. It's spacious and open. I have a friendly dog who stays with me a couple of days a week. Very convenient location, 5 mins to Dickson, 10 to the city, 10 to Gunghalin and 10 to Belconnen. We have Netflix, Stan, unlimited high speed NBN, a BBQ, a home gym and a handsome Staffy/ boxer named Raphael. We also have chickens, so free eggs ;) The main living area has reverse cycle A/C, and the whole house has ducted heating. We have a washing machine, dryer and two clothes lines. The house is kept very clean and tidy, as we both carry our weight with the cleaning, although the garden has gotten a bit out of hand over summer, so bonus point if you like gardening :) We live in a positive home environment and everybody enjoys everyone's company, and we would like to keep that going.
