The house is 4x1 (two toilets) that has had some recent renovations to the kitchen, bathroom and has a new deck. The room available for rent is medium sized and can comes with a queen bed and wardrobe. Location wise, we are a short walk to Murdoch Uni, Kardinya shops, buzacott oval and if you take public transport, South st (for buses) is a 1min walk. Fremantle is about a 10 minute drive and the freeway is nice and close. The room will be $140 a week and we split all general bills like internet, power, gas etc (including food, but that is up to the individual). Currently there are three people living in the house; 2 guys and a girl in our 20's. Aimee will be leaving around june and we will then have 2 rooms available. We enjoy a few drinks every now and again, however we also like to stay fit, love to get outdoors and are happy, clean and laid back people. There is also a dog, "Blue" who is only a pup but awesome with people. There is a gym in one of the sheds with a bouldering wall and we also have chickens laying fresh eggs daily! I am moving out of my sharehouse and thus the house needs a new housemate. The house is in Myaree which is a very central suburb close to both Fremantle and the City with a huge number of nearby bus routes travelling to either (A city bus leaves metres from the front door). It is also walking distance from an IGA which is very convenient. You can view pictures of the house at the link below, these pictures are from before it had residents but gives you an idea of the layout. The place is only a few years old so in excellent condition with a very easy to care for garden (mostly astroturf) and it has ducted refrigerative air conditioning so no sweating through summer. We also get a cleaner in each fortnight so the place is well looked after. It is 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom, the soon to be vacant room is upstairs sharing a bathroom with 2 others. Rent is currently $322 a fortnight for this room, this may go even lower with the new lease. As long as you have a newer car than two housemates you get a carport bay. Before moving in you will need to be interviewed by at least some of the current housemates and then the land lady.
