They are clean, considerate, and easygoing. There are no drugs or parties. Common areas are cleaned regularly. Residents are all in their 20s'- 30s' (but being in your 20's/30s' is not a requirement, it just happens to have worked out this way so far!) Our residents come from a variety of professions including administration, healthcare, education, and hospitality. There is a mix of male and female residents. At present the home is predominantly female. The home offers quiet, clean, secure and affordable accommodation. It is newly renovated and landscaped, with a well zoned floorplan. The home is much bigger than it looks from the street and from photos. The home is perfectly located a short distance to shops, hospitals, recreational facilities, the new Box Hill Tafe Campus, and public transport. A walk to Lilydale Station would take around 15 mins. There is a bus stop (Bus No. 677) , just a couple of minutes walk from the house. The bus will take you direct to the station or on to Chirnside Park Shopping Centre. We are located opposite the Gateway Reserve, so perfect for the morning (or afternoon) jog. Lots of open spaces and VERY quiet area. Home has been renovated with new flooring, paint, bathroom, kitchen, etc. Mod cons include Gas Ducted Heating, Gas Hot Water, and Gas Cooking. There is a very large open plan kitchen with two sinks, two gas cooktops, oven, and microwave. So we currently it’s just the two of us, both females, 22 & 23. The house is quite spacious and very “homey” feel. The house is fully furnished and you’re more then welcome to use it all including laundry facilities. A bit about the house: It has been renovated in the past 2 years, has inducted heating all through out. We have a garage too which can be used for storage. Not enough room for a car, but on street parking is available. All rooms have a built in wardrobe, as well as storage cupboards through out the house. Bathroom (as in pictures) is a shared bathroom. The location of the house is on a main road, but is generally quite of an evening, a peaceful neighbourhood. Train station & town center is a 15minute walk. The house has internet which is additional to the rent. Other bills for the property are: Water, Gas & Electrcity, internet & garden maintenance. We are just looking for someone who is curdious and tidy. We enjoy spending tome together but also having our own down time. We also need someone who is pet friendly as we have dogs and rabbits. The house is a modern brick 3 bedroom + study, 2 bathrooms, has solar power, ducted heating (4 star efficiency) & evaporative cooling, backyard-great entertaining area with BBQ, off street parking, nestled in a quiet court location. Chirnside Park and Eastland shopping centres are only a 15 minute drive, with a local shopping strip that is only 5 mins away. As the house is a 3 bedroom dwelling, I am happy for the person to use the 3rd room as a study for themselves inclusive of the $180 a wk rent for the room on offer. There is a reserve at the end of the court with a lake that you can put a canoe on and when you go for a walk there, people mostly give you a warm greeting. Lovely to go and sit there on a bench and ponder the days events. It is furnished i.e. main appliances- cook top, oven, dishwasher which are stainless steel, fridge, microwave, washing machine, 42" flat screen with Netflix. However, if you have some furniture there is space for it. There are no onerous house rules, keep it tidy, come and go as you please like I do!
