About the property
My home is a stunning original Basket Range sandstone house replete with period features, walk-in pantry, external laundry room and recently-renovated bathroom. A combustion heater in the lounge helps to keep us cozy during the chilly hills winters.
We are set in tranquil surrounds on a generous land allotment with a stunning view over the valley below. There are grand plans for a terraced veggie garden when I have a bit more spare time on our hands!
The location is a mere few minutes away from the attractions of Uraidla - including the pub, bakery, general store, and bus connections to the city.
The room available is generously-sized and is available either unfurnished or partially furnished. The property is reliant upon an ample supply of rainwater, so no water bills in sight. Gas, internet and electricity are additional costs to the rent (approx. $160 per month in total).
I am the proud dad to a fairly adorable fur baby, Asher (13), who loves to be in anyone's company and who makes his home both inside and outside of the house - so if you have pet allergies, this probably isn’t your next home.
