Angel and I migrated to Australia from the Philippines in 2006.
About 11 years ago, we have opened our home to tenants from diverse backgrounds, including individuals from Europe and Asia, and have accommodated approximately 25 tenants over the years.
We have been welcoming tenants for more than 10 years and have enjoyed long-standing, positive tenancy arrangements.
Our longest tenants resided with us for over five years, with most tenancies lasting an average of two to three years.
Angel and I do not reside at the property; however, we attend the premises from time to time to ensure the home is being reasonably maintained.
This includes general upkeep such as watering plants and maintaining the lawn.
We value tenants who take responsibility for cleaning up after themselves and who are respectful and considerate when using shared facilities, including the kitchen, lounge, bathroom, and toilet.
Maintaining cleanliness and order is essential to ensuring a comfortable, respectful, and harmonious shared living environment.
We appreciate tenants who treat the property with care and respect, both as their home and as a shared residence.
In consideration of all occupants’ privacy, comfort, and need for rest, visitors are not permitted after 5:00 pm.
The property is an older, fully furnished home. It was previously owned by a carpenter, which has resulted in multiple extensions and several rooms available for rent. While the home is older in character, responsible use and regular care help maintain a warm, comfortable, and welcoming environment for all residents.
That way, you comfortably feel like you are home away from home.
