Hi new flatmate...We, Flame(the household cat) and I welcome you to your new home.
Our home is in a leafy, peaceful suburb with friendly neighbours. Theres a local supermarket, shops, cafes, gym and the Bluegums hotel a few minutes' walk away.
It's very close to public transport and takes 30 minutes on the o-barn to the city.
You can park in the driveway or on the street if you have a car.
Theres plenty of room to relax, with a homely kitchen, gas stove, TV's in both living areas, and enough room to have your own space.
There's gas heating in the lounge and central cool air-conditioning throughout the house. You will have a fan and heater in your bedroom if you need as well.
Theres a big leafy garden, and room to create your own vegetable patch if you like, and an outside pergola where you can unwind.
I am a nature and animal lover and also interested in someone who likes cats.
I prefer a non-smoker, and someone who just wants a relaxing homebase and time out for themselves. I socialize outside of the home and keep more peace and harmony in the home, and odd get together when time permits. You have complete privacy in your own spacious room. There's a new queen bed with a comfortable Ikea mattress with an added pillow top. There's a desk if you need to study or work from home and wifi's included. In your room there's inbuilt cupboard with drawers, and some storage in the carport. There are fully drawn curtains for privacy, or they can be opened to let lots of natural light in through big windows overlooking the garden.
I welcome someone who likes their own space and we respect each other's privacy but also feel welcome to catch up for a meal or coffee as well. And if you like gardening it's a good way to destress and I am happy to welcome an extra gardener if that interests you.
I travel and visit family and country, do little road trips and like to paddle board and swim. You are welcome to come and hang out at the beach or learn to paddleboard if you like. I'd like someone who will look out for Flame if I'm away.... he's pretty independent and does his own thing, has a good nature and he is very friendly and relaxed with people.
I do creative cooking and baking and happy to share a meal if we are not busy with work, study or doing our own thing.
There are laundry facilities and you have your own little bathroom with a shower and toilet.
Rent is $200 a week plus electricity and gas paid quarterly. This includes free Wi-Fi and internet.
TTP, cinemas and Golden Grove Shopping Centre are 5-10 mins away by car.
I'm a very easy-going person. I'm more of a free spirit, down to earth person in a teaching career and I do have a busy workload and appreciate my down time.
