About the flatmates
This is a very rare vacancy, in a very stable household with the departing tenant having been there for over 3 years. The remaining two tenants are in their 30s/40s, both white collar workers (one working for an engineering firm and the other a researcher at the nearby campus of GU). Both are very cordial, cooperative, but value their space and privacy. The common areas are kept very tidy (following a cleaning roster), but not in an obsessive way. Most of the kitchen space (cupboards, fridge shelves etc) are allocated to specific rooms, so everyone gets a fair share of common resources. The owner (myself) resides in a self-contained granny flat attached to the house. He uses the same laundry (outside), but is otherwise minimally involved in the day-to-day running of the house.
