About the flatmates
We’re a friendly, healthcare-working family with 2-year-old twins — a boy and a girl. They’re genuinely adorable, love playing together, and bring a lot of warmth and laughter into the house.
We both work in healthcare, with opposite schedules that balance things nicely — one of us works days, the other nights — so the home has a natural rhythm and isn’t busy all the time. We make it work and enjoy the organised chaos that comes with family life.
We value kindness, communication, and respect, and we’re mindful of creating a calm, welcoming home for everyone living here.
To keep things easy and fair, we’ll also be organising a professional cleaner every fortnight for the shared areas.

We’re offering two adjoining bedrooms with your own bathroom and toilet, plus extra storage and landing space, in our modern 4-bedroom, double-storey home in Brisbane.
Important: the rooms are rented together as a package, not individually.
This setup would suit:
• A single parent with young children (we have two little ones under two)
• A female student, single female or au pair-style arrangement, where we’re open to negotiating reduced rent in exchange for two evenings a week of help with the kids
• A travelling couple or small family looking for a comfortable Brisbane base for a few months
This home would suit someone who genuinely enjoys being around children when they’re home and is happy to have a chat, say hello, or share the occasional moment
