About the property
We’ll be living in a 3-bedroom house inside a complex located between Newstead, Fortitude Valley, and Bowen Hills. The complex has a swimming pool, BBQ area, and plenty of visitor parking, and you’ll also have your own spot in the garage. The area is pretty quiet, and within a few blocks there are many nice cafés, restaurants, bus and train stations, as well as Woolworths, Aldi, and Gasworks.
Your room will be partially furnished, and we’re happy to chat before you move in to see what you might need. The room may look slightly different from the photos, as the current flatmate may take some furniture when moving out. However, the room will still include a rug, bedside table, lamp, wardrobe, mattress, and we can organise anything else if needed. Pls note that your room only has a portable aircon.
Bills are not included and usually cost around $15 per week per person. Common areas have air conditioning, a large TV, a high-quality soundbar, Xbox Series S, Netflix, an amazing coffee machine, and plenty of storage space in both the kitchen and garage.
The second floor has a balcony — your bedroom doesn’t have direct access, but you’re more than welcome to use it and chill. We also have a private garden where we love to organise BBQs with friends.

About the flatmates
Hi there, I’m Jo, and you’ll be living with me and Ethan. We’re both very social and into an active lifestyle, like going to the beach, running, gym, and the outdoors, but we also balance that with nice BBQs, drinks, dinners, and movie nights.
I’m Brazilian and Ethan is from New Caledonia, and we’re both in our mid-late 20s.
Unfortunately, our flatmate Sarah is moving away, so we’re looking for someone to join the house. We do enjoy small social gatherings, so you’re welcome to have friends over, but this is not a party house.
The house has three bathrooms. You’ll be sharing the main bathroom with Ethan, while the master bedroom has an ensuite, and there’s an additional bathroom downstairs.
