Hi everyone,
I’ve just secured a beautiful Queenslander in Paddington, perfectly located off the main strip, and I’m looking for like-minded housemates to create a proper home together.
Move-in date: 18 February.
A bit about me:
I’m 37, British Indian, and have been living in Brisbane for around 2 years (14 years in Australia overall). I’m settled, friendly, and value a home that feels calm, comfortable and easy to live in.
The house:
• 2 rooms available - shared facility
• Classic Queenslander — big, light-filled and airy
• Built-in wardrobes and plenty of storage
• Under-house storage (ideal for bikes, surfboards, boxes or small personal projects)
• Air-conditioning & ceiling fans in every room

• Rooms are unfurnished
• Not pet friendly
I’ll be doing most of the furnishing, but I’m keen to create a home together, so if you have pieces to contribute, even better 🙂
I’m looking for house-proud, considerate adults who want to settle in for the next 12 months (ideally no short-term stays, though I’m open to a chat if the vibe is right). This is a home where common sense replaces cleaning rosters, and everyone respects shared spaces.
Ideally, you’ve got your own life going on, but you’re also happy to share a glass of wine or a cup of tea, have a chat, or enjoy the odd meal together. The house should feel like a place to recharge, while remaining harmonious and relaxed.
Good communication, mature, upbeat nature, and mutual respect are really important to me.
This isn’t a party house, but it’s also not a closed-door setup. The kitchen and living areas are shared spaces, so I’m looking for people who are comfortable coexisting, cooking at different times, being mindful of each other, and occasionally coming together for a cheese board, a shared meal or a catch-up when it naturally happens.
