About the property
Minimum 6 month stay, new housemates will be required to pay two weeks in advance ($430), and four weeks bond ($860)
We will be signing another lease in July for at least another 6 months.
Applicants will be required to submit payslips, proof of identity etc, to the landlord for approval (he's a cool guy don't stress)
Please keep in mind this is not a party house, of course you can have guests over but no loud music or late nights please!
This one level three bed, two bath house was built in 2001 (I believe). It has just been freshly renovated and is in practically new condition, hence why we like to keep the place very clean.
It is located in a culdesac in bit of a maze of streets, this is great as it's super quiet and there aren't many cars driving around nearby.
It's still super close to everything, with multiple shopping complexes within a 5-10 min drive. (Three wollies, two aldi, coles, kmart, lots of asian grocery stores etc.)
I don't use public transport myself, but I do believe there are a few busses that run off Algester rd nearby.
There is a small two car garage, one space is negotiable depending on the size of car you have. Otherwise there is plenty of street parking.
The available room is 3.3m x 3.3m (not including the door way), it includes brand new plush carpet, privacy(sheer) and blackout blinds, and double sliding wardrobe with shelves/drawers. There is also an external shutter that can be pulled down for more privacy/to keep the heat and sun out.
The property does have ducted aircon, but as it is an older model it doesn't have zoning, therefore we don't use it much (heatwaves not included). There are a few solar panels on the roof, but as we haven't had our first electricity bill yet I can't say how they affect cost. Electricity will be split evenly.
Internet is available, we have Fiber to the building with insanely good speeds, this is $95 per month, split evenly.
I know this is a lot of information to read, I just like to include as much as possible to help new housemates :)

About the flatmates
This house already has a cat, no more pets allowed sorry!
This house currently has two housemates, Me (Mikaela, 28), and Ben (25). We're both avid gamers and can be found at our pc's or gaming in our rooms. There's plenty of room for a third gaming set up in the living room!
My cat, Jelly (9), can be found in various spots around the house, taking a nap or staring out the window, working as our unpaid security guard. He's a friendly inside only, chubby ginger with no tail. Please keep in mind that he is under no circumstances allowed outside (no matter how much he tries to bribe you with)
Hi! I'm Mikaela (28), I work full time in a warehouse nearby.
I'm up early weekdays for work, and mainly commute on my motorbike (I'm as quiet as I can be)
When I'm not at work I like to relax by gaming on my pc or other consoles, or work on my many crafts (sewing, repairing tech, cross stitch)
Ben (25) has just moved back to Brisbane from rural QLD after many years. He keeps to himself and also can be found at his pc mainly. He's not currently working but is in search of part time work.
We both pride ourselves in keeping a clean and tidy house. This is really important for the both of us, and is a value we'd hope to find in a new housemate :)
