Beautiful heritage-listed home in Spring Hill, about a 15 minute walk from the city with a great view of the city and the Story Bridge as we’re on the corner of the street 😍

Available from today. We will be conducting housemate interviews in the next 1-2 weeks until we find a good fit.

Rent is $186 per week, this includes $3.50 which is put towards a shared house card. We use this to purchase cleaning products, washing liquids, cooking oil and other shared amenities.

- Room is private and unfurnished with a built in wardrobe
- 2 shared bathrooms (upstairs and a bath downstairs)
- Kitchen utilities are mostly shared, excluding some mugs and containers
- Paved courtyard and clothes line with a small garden area
- Storage area under the house
- 1 parking space which is currently used, and on-street parking
- We also share the house with my cat Keanu, who is very social!

The room is upstairs, approx 3 x 2.3 metres with a high ceiling and a window overlooking a frangipani tree. The inbuilt wardrobe has mirrored sliding doors. The room fits a queen size bed and small desk.

The house has been furnished by current and previous housemates, the available room is unfurnished. All the essentials are available: Dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge, etc.

Bills:
- Internet is $22/month per person.
- Electricity is roughly $80/quarter per person.
- Gas is roughly $60/ quarter per person.
- Water is included in rent.
- Toilet paper subscription is $15/10 weeks per person.
*You must pay bills on time and arrange your own reminders for bill due dates. We have auto payments set up for internet and all other bills will be posted in our WhatsApp group chat.

The lease renews on July 28th, and we are re-signing for another 12 months. From this date the rent will go up $5 each and the bond $20 each.

About you:
- Working Part-time or Full-time
- Looking to stay over 6 months (ideally 12+ months)
- Cleans up after self and keeps up with shared house chores
- Pays bills on time and is respectful of common areas and housemates

We are looking for a friendly new housemate to join our keep-tidy home who ideally also works during the daytime, is up for chats in the living areas but also respects everyone's downtime and privacy. Respectful communication, trust and cleanliness is extremely important to us.
