Seeking a new roomate to join us in this home as we are losing one of the crew to a new job in Sydney.
✨️About the house:✨️
It's 5 bedroom house with an old Queenslander style and separated over two levels. Three bedrooms upstairs and two rooms downstairs, both levels are self contained only sharing the laundry. There is a large undercover carport capable of fitting 3 cars, only two roomates have cars at the moment so there is space for another. We have a lovely outdoor area with a courtyard and spacious verandah for chilling. We are in a great location for public transport, Taringa station and the city bound bus stop are both only a 5 minute walk away. Coles local Taringa is 500 metres away or we are right in between both Indooroopilly and Toowong shopping centre with only a short bus ride to either one.
✨️About the room:✨️
The room is on the upstairs level, it's small but charming with high ceilings, windows on 3 out of the 4 walls and can fit a king single bed, desk with chair and chest of drawers. The living room and dining room are both quite large spaces so there's plenty of room to spread out and make up for the smaller bedroom area. Or you if you prefer you can spend time outdoors on the verandah or in the backyard. We are super flexible with furnishings so if there's anything in the room you dont want or already have let us know. 😊

I work at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary just up the road. I spend most of my days off with family or friends. When at home I enjoy watching movies, the occasional puzzle/boardgame and spending time outdoors. I enjoy my own company but also like hanging out in shared spaces with the roomies.

I've lived downstairs in this house for three years now and work fulltime at a framing studio. In my spare time I love going to markets, op shopping and cooking. I'm super into art and music and enjoy having dinner with house mates, hanging with friends and chilling at home.

Hi I’m Georgette and I’ve lived here for 3 years upstairs. I currently work full time at a law firm in the CBD and study a dual degree in law and creative industries either full or part time (depending on how burnt out I am lol). I’m either very chatty and sociable or walking around like a very friendly ghost. I love to read, write, gym or play football outside of work/study, or I’ll be at the markets/wine bar and having my girlfriends over for dinner and art days.

I live downstairs with Eloise. I love sewing and have just finished my fashion degree at QUT. I am also a casual worker at a gifts and craft store. On my days off I enjoy baking and dominating at Boggle 😄 I'm quite social and chatty but have respect for people's boundaries.
As a house we enjoy having the occasional group dinner (as evidenced in the photos), game sesh or art night. Would welcome having an extra person to join but no pressure if you prefer to keep to yourself.
