One large and one small room are available in this cute, large house in a quiet suburban oasis a ten minute drive to the city and a short walk to a large shopping centre. I am finding it’s also very close to most of Canberra, including Woden and Gungahlin.
It has been newly painted, and boasts modernities every Canberran needs like air conditioning and a dishwasher. It also comes furnished with necessities like a washing machine, dryer, fridge, couch, candles and quirky posters to provide some personality.
I have a spare single bed if needed.
There is a large back and front garden that someone has clearly invested in at some point, and a raised area which was a vege garden (and could be again). The place would suit someone with a green thumb, but at minimum requires a person willing to take turns mowing the lawn.
The house is also home to a few well-behaved furry housemates, so you must love animals.
Price doesn’t include bills or internet, but does include a fortnightly clean to keep everything sparkling and avoid resentment over unfulfilled chore charts.
The bathroom also features a bath, perfect for a relaxing soak. Lots of parking space and an outdoor shed.
There is also an option to rent the large room for $300 and keep the third room as a home office, yoga, gym or storage room.
