My home is less than 300 metres from shops and bus stops. The local shops have a café, a take-away food store, a chemist and a supermarket. I am 15 minutes’ bike ride from University of Canberra, 20 minutes to the AIS, and 25 minutes to the major shopping centre. My home is well insulated, warm in Winter and cool in Summer, with reverse cycle air conditioning. There are outdoor areas to sit and enjoy the gardens. The well equipped kitchen is large enough for 2 of us to work in at once. I maintain a peaceful, calm atmosphere which is welcoming and homely.

I am a retired builder. I am divorced, with 4 adult children and 8 grandchildren - two of whom live in Canberra. This is a Christian home, so no private altars or shrines are allowed here. I am a timber craftsman, selling my creations at local markets. You are welcome to use the whole house as your own home, showing respect to the floors and furniture.
