A cosy, upstairs bedroom will be available mid February in our comfy West Hobart home - just a 5-minute walk to the NoHo strip and a 20-minute walk to the city.
The unfurnished room includes built-in shelves and comfortably fits a queen bed, desk, and wardrobe. The rest of the house is fully furnished, with lots of plants, art, and a peaceful vibe. We have:
• A large backyard maintained by a fortnightly gardener
• An outdoor patio, veggie gardens, front veranda, BBQ/firepit, and secure garden shed
• A cleaning roster to keep things tidy - chores are minimal and fairly shared
Rent: $196/week
Bond: $600
Utilities: unlimited NBN ($25/month) + gas/power (~$20/week)
Lease: Runs until November 2027 with the likely option to renew. You'll need to be approved by the landlord.
Sorry, no pets or couples (partner sleepovers are totally fine!).

You:
We're looking for someone tidy, respectful, calm, considerate, and easy to communicate with. It's important that you're LGBTQI+ and neurodivergence friendly, with previous share house experience. Ideally someone between 25-35 years old, vegan/vegetarian, living environmentally conscious/sustainable.
We’d love someone with a similar lifestyle and routine - working or studying during the day (e.g. 9–5-ish), so no one’s disturbed by conflicting schedules like night shifts/mismatched sleep patterns.
We’re social and friendly, so ideally you’ll enjoy a chat or shared tea/game occasionally - but also appreciate quiet, personal time. Liking dogs is essential - Poppy is an inside dog and very much a part of the household.
