Single and double room available in West Hobart. The house is 20/30 mins walk to the CBD at the top of a steep hill in Forest Road. The elevated position offers an amazing view (Derwent river from the Tasman Bridge to the Casino, kunanyi/Mount Wellington).The house has a centralised gas heating with panel heaters in every room. The spare rooms are situated at the bottom level of the house: one single ($200/w), one double ($230/w), and have views out over the garden. They allow for lots of privacy. Guest toilet + shower is upstairs, and there is an extra toilet downstairs. Plenty of on street parking but it is a quiet road.Big kitchen fully equipped. However, WE DO NOT COOK MEAT IN THE HOUSE AND OUR GUESTS ARE USUALLY VEGETARIAN OR DO NOT COOK MEAT DURING THEIR STAY. THIS IS NOT NEGOTIABLE. We don't mind about people having take-away non vegetarian food. We have 3 cats.
The studio is attached to the main family house with a separate access. We are close to the North Hobart restaurants and within walking distance to the city. The house is located in South Hobart, close to town, university, bus stop, the local corner store and a bottle-o. The home has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, open plan living with kitchen, dining and lounge, all fully furnished and includes the holy trinity of a heat pump, dishwasher and dryer to the laundry! We also have a fantastic balcony that overlooks the rivulet track and Mount Wellington. The bedroom is decently sized with a built in wardrobe – there is a bed and desk available for purchase from the departing housemate (if required), otherwise unfurnished. There are great views on the city, river and mountains with amazing sunlight It's a spacious, quiet, tidy, homely home. It's non-smoking and definitely not a party house. I'm not into waking up with strangers in the house. We have a laundry space, dining room, big open lounge, 2 balconies, 2 toilets and 2 bathrooms. Apartment is fully furnished (IMO) except for the available room. Room available has two wardrobes, one of which is used by me. Unfortunately they are unable to be moved. Apartment is two story, small but bedrooms are sizeable. Bathroom has seperate toilet (kind of). Ask away about anything I might have missed.

I recently purchased this property in November and after relishing having a house to myself, I’ve decided it’s probably time I look to lease out one of my spare bedrooms. The property is light, bright and airy. Situated in Lutana; the place is a mere 10 minute drive to the CBD, and close to shops, public transport and scenic parks. The room for rent comes furnished, however if you have your own furniture then we could arrange something out. The room features built-ins, a desk, along with new carpets and loads of natural light throughout. The bathroom is small, however the toilet is separate. I feel the place is a perfect size for two people, with ample living space, and a separate kitchen and dining. There is a large backyard to enjoy, with views of the mountain highly prevalent. Off-street parking can be shared, however on-street parking is easily accessible. There is a wood fire; as well as a reverse-cycle heat pump. As this is my property, I am looking for someone who is going to be clean, tidy, reliable and respectful of my things. I sometimes go away for work for days at a time, so I need to know that I can trust you to care for my property as if it were your own.
