The home is a rustic and charming Invermay House, built is the 1920s. It has not a lot of mod specs but lots features I enjoy such wooden floors boards, stain glass, ornate fireplace and cute 1940's kitchen. The best part is there is lots of space and choice of rooms.
The small back yard has a raised garden bed and neglected fruit trees if that your vibe :)
Great opportunity if you want to grow food and I have lots of herbs popping up in warmer months.
In winter nights - you might love a wood fire humming in your bones.
A relaxed and gentle approach to living is important here, the house is minimally renovated and is a peaceful sanctuary.
The advertised rate of $280 is for a single person and includes electricity, wifi, gas hot water. Someone that uses large amounts of electricity will need to have a different rate.
Couples rate of $360 applies.

A little bit about me:
I have recently settled into a charming house near Star Theatre and am seeking a housemate or temporary guests to join me in a cozy home life!
I work from home remotely, for a womens health organistation.
I am also an artist / arts worker doing bits and bobs of freelance and project work.
I have an easygoing little cat called Monika, who's nice to have around.
Female housemates or queer folk preferred, but open to others, including couples. Just get in touch. Men with the right vibe and values or couples are considered.
Not a party house, suitable for mature quiet lifestyle for a student or backpackers or #vanlife looking for somewhere warm and stable to plan next steps and save some money.
I don't have a tv and prefer to read or do crafts in communal ares. The bedrooms are large enough for your TV or whatever you do to wind down (study or a desk)
There is a choice of various rooms throughout the house, pictured is 1 small bedroom, but there are other options available.
Please note that I haven't shared lots of pictures for privacy and safety reasons, but can send you more if we are a suitable match.
If you are going to send me a message, please include a little bit about yourself and your situation, and we can go from there. Messages from strangers saying "Available?" and wanting an inspection won't get a response, sorry.
