About the property
One bedroom and an office room on offer to one person. So yes you would have two rooms! Two rooms together for $350 a week (shown in first three photos).
The bedroom and office comes unfurnished except for a dresser and two shoe racks. The whole apartment otherwise is fully furnished with all of the kitchenware. It is easy to find free/cheap furniture in my area and I'm happy to help you. Everything in the kitchen is shared (i.e. spices, kitchenware, dinnerware) except for individual grocery shopping.
There are great tram options just a one minute walk away, South Yarra Station is nearby, and the city is super close (10 minutes). Car permit available for $130.
I have some streaming services and lots of board games. Air con is fitted in the living room.
Need someone to move in March anytime. I have the bills set up, I'll send you your half to pay as they become due.
Rent in this area is increasing overall in properties, and this apartment is among one of the cheaper options.

Neyla - 26 year old female working full time in research, and I'm looking for someone preferably long-term to be on a month-to-month lease with me! I'm from the UK and have been living in Melbourne for 8 years now. I have a great history with share-houses, and am very good friends with my past housemates.
I love getting creative and find myself trying new things all the time. I enjoy baking, I read, crochet, play video games, meditate, workout (yoga/pilates), and I like to get in touch with my adventurous side. In my spare time outside of that I like going to the cinema, bottomless brunches, out for work drinks, hikes/road trips, and going to festivals. I appreciate the need for space as well as a good yap, in which I will hope there is a loving level of communication for when we do.
I come with two beautiful indoor cats; Jam and Marmalade who are brothers. Jam is the tabby, Marmalade is the ginger, they are both very shy at first but will sleep next to you/be affectionate once they are comfortable.
Not a party house, but I don't mind guests here and there. Out of respect, I'd appreciate no partners staying over more than 3x a week (unless communicated)... I'm sure neither of us wants to pay more bills because of an extra person.
I like having a clean space where possible, and would appreciate sharing chores equally. If we both put in the same amount of work to make our house feel like a home, communicate kindly, respectfully and patiently, and I'm sure we will get along just fine! As I have cats there can be fur but it’s manageable thanks to the vacuum hehe.
If you're having a tough day, let me know and I'll put my Mum hat on and make you a cuppa. Looking for someone who has good communication, is warm-hearted and respectful. Also someone who is 420 friendly (I smoke maybe once a month these days and out of the window). Last thing I'd want is for us to feel anxious communicating our needs to each other! Thanks!
