About the flatmates
Hi there!
Price listed is for basically the entire downstairs - suggest as a bedroom and WFH office (or two bedrooms), keeping the downstairs living area as communal(-ish, I'm not a big TV watcher, you'll mostly have it to yourself). Downstairs has it's own front door, heaps of privacy.
You'll also have the "guest" bathroom upstairs as your own, I've got an ensuite. Off-street parking for 2x cars very comfortably, spacious driveway, and I've got a spot on the other side of the house.
Would be a great fit for a couple who have a WFH component to their jobs.
Very open to pets - I have a cat who is happier with friends (his name is Bort). A friendly cat is a bonus, I'll consider a well-trained dog but have some baggage about yappy little biters terrorizing my cat and I (and a gate to fix to get the yard fully enclosed - don't suppose you're handy?)
Space available due to sudden breakup two months into a 12mo lease, so that's fun.
I work a lot and I'm at the gym when I'm not at work, so, I'd feel better knowing someone was home using this big ol' space and loving on my cat.
Aircon, heating, freshly reno'ed so the kitchen etc is lovely, dishwasher, I'm a keen gardener, and not a lick of mould anywhere in the house (in a sharehouse? I know, right?).
The house is a real "entertainer" but I'm a real "bed by 10pm" girl. Not against guests, partners, and the occasional shindig, but need you to not be getting fucked up on weeknights or smoking anything in the house. Vaping fine.
The catch is me, I'm a clean-freak. No roster bullshit but I'll bust your ass if I see food scraps left out attracting ants. And a Tonya Harding type if you mess me around with late rent.
I'd be chuffed if you're a bit "nerdy high-achieving neurodivergent", late 20s upwards, and occasionally want to have a glass of wine and play some Diablo or MTG with me or be my +1 to all the metal gigs I've now got spare tickets for, but my schedule is hectic and I can't pretend I'm trying to build a little commune where we all cook together here. Total communist about milk and TP though, raid away, I've got a Costco membership if you want to go!
Taking inspections immediately if we seem like a fit. I'd love a couple, super okay with WFH, super okay with LGBT flatmates, older people, etc. Lightly antsy about a solo hetero man but could certainly be swayed.
