Just a few of my previous house mate's comments about this home.
Original 70s double story beach house with 180 degree views of the bay and city (you can see Melbourne on the horizon!)
House is double story with 3 bedrooms (your bedroom & bathroom are on ground floor), and upstairs shared kitchen, shared lounge, shared deck overlooking the bay, shared dine room (that can be used as a guest sleepover room). Plus massive sunny backyard with orchard to explore.
You have your own bathroom & bedroom (on ground floor).
There will be yourself & one other flatmate living here PLUS sometimes (hardly ever!) myself as I try to visit one weekend/mth or so for a night when visiting friends etc.
Walking distance to beautiful Dromana bay beach and funky Dromana shops including Dromana IGA (voted best supermarket in the world) & funky restaurants plus easy drive to Rosebud, Rye, Sorrento and Portsea or drive up the hill to Red Hill and Western Port (you can see Arthurs seat from the front yard) or Safety Beach, Mt Martha or Mornington. Melbourne CBD is just an hour away by freeway.
Property includes an orchard and space to expand the vegie patch.
Costing includes ALL bills (internet, electricity, water AND gardeners!) BUT please note house has gas ducted heating and due to insane increases in gas cost, an extra amount will need to be charged in winter IF gas usage is over & above what was previously normal use (some tenants have put heater on 26 degrees & left windows open sorry not on:( bill will need to be paid by tenants)
The garden is well maintained with two gardeners so all you need to do is keep inside tidy and clean 🙂 VERY IMPORTANT! Clean people welcome!

About the flatmates
Ideally suited for front line workers who need a bit of chill space and zen e.g. health care workers, aged care workers, teachers who work on the peninsula.
I am a teacher who now has a full time job in the city and recently I had a serious ankle injury so unable to drive for long distances so now live in the city BUT still love to visit my home from time to time on rare weekends.
This means you will have the house mostly for yourself with your other flatmate during the week :)
Hopefully you are someone who is able to pay the rent on time, be house proud, keep place tidy (regularly cleaned) as can be, not smoke inside and appreciate a space you can call home.
Sorry no subletting, no loud late night parties as we are in the zone where we all need to be well behaved (council orders plus we have families living all around). Hope that gives you peace of mind that our home will be super peaceful :) 🙂

The Fine Print:
Rent is paid monthly in advance.
Rent includes reasonable use of water, electricity, gas, internet. Reasonable use has been established, so if excessive use (eg gas heater & windows all open!) extra $ may be asked to help with bills.
Bond x 4 weeks.
Rental contract will be drawn up so need ID (eg drivers license, current address, mobile, email & work referee).
Four weeks’ notice of departure applies.
Minimum 3 mth lease period.
Room fully furnished but if you have your own that’s fine I can put bed in storage:)
Rent is for one person only. Visitor staying overnight please advise both current housemate & myself to make sure no inconvenience plus might incur small extra cost to cover extra utilities.
