Greetings potential housemate!

You’re going to love it at our place. We like to strike a balance between having our own space and interacting with the housemates. We enjoy doing fun house events like board game nights, bowling, (and are up for any other suggestions of fun things!). We also have a monthly house dinner.

There’s a big open plan living space with the kitchen, dining and lounge room. A separate second living area means there’s plenty of space for everyone. We have a bathroom with a bath and shower and a separate toilet.

The kitchen is fully equipped and decked out with a food processor, nutra bullet and multi-cooker. We have all the pots, pans, cutlery and crockery you could ever need, so we aren’t looking for an housemate with too much kitchen stuff. Included is a brand new Bosch dishwasher. We have two fridge/freezers so you’ll have half of one all to yourself. You’ll have your own shelf in the pantry, too.

The laundry has a brand new LG washing machine as well as a large sink and worktop.

We are slowly expanding our home gym - we’ve got a chin up bar, bands, mats, foam rollers, kettle bells, assault bike, rowing machine and looking to deck it out with a few more bits and bobs.

There is a front and back lawn, which is maintained by AJ and Meg (no mowing required by you!). A nice garden bed including a thriving mint plant out the back (mojitos, anyone?).

Internet is great all throughout the house, we’ve got 3 Google Nest devices that ensure the signal is strong in all rooms (the nests also double as speakers).

We’ve got two beautiful dogs, one 14 year old Kelpie X (Jazz) and a 4 year old Labradoodle (Gin) (so we aren’t looking for any more pets to join us). Jazz keeps to herself most of the time and Gin loves a pat or cuddle!

There’s evaporative cooling throughout the house to keep you cool in our long Melbourne summers.

Your bedroom has a wardrobe, chest of drawers and a large window to let in all the natural light. All the bedrooms are carpeted.

We also have a cleaner (not included in rent, an extra $20 per week) that comes once per week to ensure the place is kept looking fantastic - gone are the days of passive aggressive texts about a chores roster. She cleans the main areas (kitchen, bathroom, floors) but everyone is required to do their own dishes and tidy up after themselves.
