About the property
This lovely much older style 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is located in Heathmont.
This humble abode is looking for a relaxed and laid back person or couple to take the larger room that has a small ensuite bathroom, complimenting the room and providing privacy.
This is the biggest room in the house with large built in cupboards, room for a king size bed and other furniture as well. So there is plenty to work with!
The person/s moving into this room must be happy please with signing onto the lease which is month to month here although I am preferably looking for someone who is seeking a place to call home long term.
One of the rooms is an office space that is set up for possible shared use if needed. The large, light filled lounge room has a big comfy couch, smart T.V and views of the garden outside. There is split system heating and cooling throughout the whole house which is great for all seasons!
The greenery outside from the large leafy garden can be seen from every window and there is a covered veranda off the dining area, good for entertaining, those rainy days when you need to dry clothes or when you just wan a space to sit, relax and take in the secluded surrounding back yard and listen to the birds.
(smokers are welcome to use this space......)
There is a fully equipped kitchen (sorry no dishwasher people) and laundry with washing machine plus a second fridge.
There is a remote controlled double garage which I park in but am more than happy to share for parking or storage needs. There is also a driveway for uncovered off street parking if needed out the front. The house also has a single garage for smaller storage needs.
The house is in a great location with less than a 3 min walk to Heathmont train station although don't get the noise where we are thankfully. The local shops are about 5 mins walk away with everything that you'll need if on foot. There is an IGA, post office, news agency, pharmacy, organic shop, op-shop, fruit shop, awesome bakery and some great takeaway places, cafes, restaurants etc.
The house is very close to Dandenong creek, riding trails/parkland and only a short distance to Aquination (a public swimming pool/gym etc) for people who like to stay active. Loads of different local sports clubs around too.....

About the flatmates
I'm Laura and I'm 40. I am a ex dog behaviourist and trainer who has changed and have been working in the equine industry as a "barefoot trimmer" ( kinda like a farrier...I work with feet/hooves/horses holistically) for the last few years now. I works odd days of the week (when I'm not looking after my elderly/ill farther as his carer) and usually most Saturday mornings. I also occasionally stay with him so would be away for short times when needed.
Some of my interests include walking, camping, riding, Pilates, hiking, gardening, equine therapy, natural horsemanship, reading, basket weaving, environmental and animal advocacy, markets and the simple things in life :)
I'm looking to share the home with a friendly and considerate person or couple with a positive attitude to life. Someone who will not just hybinate in their room 24/7 playing video games. I think that it's great to develop friendship within the home, but I understand the need to respect each others space and privacy as well.........Friends and loved ones are always welcome :)
If you're after a drama free home and don't mind doing your bit to keep the place clean and tidy, can pay your way on time, then we're on the same page.
P.s. People into gardening and growing their own food encouraged!
There are two beautiful animals that reside here too so you can choose to enjoy their company without the responsibility.

He is an inside/ outside boy who is accustomed to sleeping on his bed but occasionally is invited onto the couch so people must be comfortable with a cuddle from time to time!
Little One who is a black and white domestic short hair cat, roughly 10 years old ( quite a smooch). She too is an inside/outside girl, (always inside at night though!) who is usually cuddled up on a chair or her bed during the colder months inside, otherwise exploring and catching some sunshine outside during the warmer months.
