About the property

Hi! I'm a teacher looking for one or two people to share my home for 6-12 months after my extended family moved for work reasons.
The house is an older style 3 bedroom house with a fenced off front lawn. It's located in a tree-lined street in a quiet area of Heathmont, 6 minutes walk to the train station, local shops and parks, and 6 minutes drive to Aquanation, with its spa, sauna and heated pool.
While there are two rooms available, I'd be happy to let one or both. If someone wants both to have the smaller one as an office, I can reduce the rent considerably.
About me - I'm a casual secondary teacher, working close to full-time but variable depending on work. I have two grandchildren aged 13 and 10, who visit occasionally and are pretty quiet and very well behaved. I also am pretty quiet. I enjoy music and watching the occasional movie or will be working/relaxing in my room or sitting in the sun. I don't really have friends around much, mostly go out for social connections. I'm basically a nice person, just looking to ease the rent for a year until my family members return.

About the flatmates

I'm a teacher and a grandmother. I work as a casual replacement teacher (CRT). I'm pretty quiet, not much of a gardener but I'd like to grow some herbs and veggies as I did when I was working from home during Covid. I listen to all kinds of music from classical to blues, jazz, folk, modern 'pop'/rock, and enjoy reading and watching films. I have a piano and a clarinet, both of which I'd like to start playing again. I'm also into meditation, and I run a charity that supports villagers in rural India.

My grandchildren (now going into year 7 and year 4) come to visit sometimes. They're well behaved, respectful, nice kids and have friends nearby so often go to their place.

I'd be happy to have an adult, also a child would be welcome. If you're interested, we can discuss possibilities.
