I’m renting out a room in my fantastic two-level apartment in Ripponlea. If you aren't familiar with the suburb, it is Melbourne's best-kept secret, a safe, leafy "village" nestled right between St Kilda and Elsternwick.
You get the best of both worlds: the peace and safety of a quiet neighborhood, but you're a 7-minute bike ride to the beach and a 2-minute walk to the train (15 mins to the City).

The Setup: Top-floor "penthouse style" full of natural light. We have a massive projector in the living room for movie nights (yes, that is The Office in the pics) and a Weber BBQ on the balcony for summer dinners.
The Bathroom: A huge plus for share-housing, we have a double vanity, so you get your own sink, mirror space, and storage. No fighting for the bathroom in the morning!
The Vibe: Social and balanced. It’s a great spot for having friends over for a BBQ or a movie night, but it's also a peaceful place to just relax. I stay pretty active and am often out and about, but I value a home that feels chill and welcoming.
The Room: Fits a queen bed easily, is very private/quiet, and gets great light.
