About the property
Room available in our lovely Rosanna home, within walking distance to Rosanna Village, the train station and nearby parklands, and close to La Trobe University, local schools and shops.
I currently share the house with one other person, but they are moving out to live with their partner. Loking for someone to join on for a new 12-month lease renewal.
The available room is a medium-sized bedroom with a built-in robe, and would comfortably fit a double or queen bed plus some bedside furniture. There’s also a third room in the house that is currently shared, but this could be negotiated for your use as a home office, study or hobby/craft space. There's also space in the dining/living area for items, furnishings, shelves etc.
It’s an older house, but it’s been updated with a modern kitchen and bathrooms, new hot water system, heating and ducted cooling.
Some furnishings will remain, but we’ll need to source a few things (dining set, couch, fridge maybe), as these belong to the outgoing housemate. If you have furniture to contribute, that’s a bonus, but I’m also happy to organise these myself.
Another bonus is that the house is generally pet-friendly, though you will need to formally apply/note them with the real estate to get on the lease. No issues with our current dog here (who's sadly leaving also :( ). There’s a smaller rear courtyard, side access and a fenced front yard.

I’m Jude (he/they), 29, currently working full-time at La Trobe Uni (Bundoora). I’m on campus 2–3 days a week and work from home the rest.
I’m experienced with share-house living and keep things clean, tidy and respectful. I value clear communication, collaboration and doing my part to create a relaxed, comfortable home. I’m approachable, easy to live with and mindful of shared spaces :)

I’m moderately social—always up for a cup of tea, a chat or a low-key movie night. I’m a bit of a dork who likes tinkering with tech, and I also enjoy reading, cycling and mountain biking, hiking, photography and cooking—especially Filipino food. I love checking out markets, festivals, live shows, theatre, music and good coffee spots.
