Looking for someone to fill a room in a 2 bedroom Southbank apartment. Furnished interior room with a window looking out onto the shared space. The apartment is really close to flinder’s street station and the number 58, 1, 96 and 109 tram lines. About a 15-20 minute walk into southern cross, and close to the NGV and the VCA campus. There’s a big Woolworths and a Chinese grocer just across the road. The apartment is furnished and has cooking equipment/ plates /cutlery etc to share, and a washer and dryer. Along with your room you’ll have access to a shared bathroom/laundry, a shared kitchen, a small dining area with a round table, small lounge area with a couch and TV, a balcony, and the building amenities. Residents get access to a building pool with spa, sauna, gym, BBQ area, mail room, tennis courts that can be booked out, and a little community library. There’s also a public park, community gardens, basketball courts, and a public library nearby.

You’ll be sharing the apartment with me, a full-time student at Monash currently pursuing my PhD in literary and media studies. I spend most days out of the apartment studying, although sometimes I prefer to work from home, and I spend a fair amount of time away from the apartment staying with my partner and friends.
Im very easy going and tend to be quiet when I get home from a day of studying. I like to draw, cook, and half-finish sewing/craft projects. I'm not a huge TV watcher but love a good movie night, I have a lot of cacti and succulents. Into continental philosophy and critical theory and like to attend reading groups/conferences/events around these topics. Love to go out dancing, will always hit up a hyperpop event, a bit gothy, love a costume/themed party, chronically surrounding myself with broke artists, not a theatre kid or horse girl but big fan of both. very 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ friendly, i don't usually smoke but totally fine if you do. Plant-based, do a lot of meal prep, used to life model a lot and still do sometimes. Bit of a clutter queen with lots of knick-knacks and incense, still not convinced objects dont feel sad when I throw them out but am learning to do it anyways. Like to keep the apartment as a peaceful, accepting, presentable space. Ideally looking for a housemate that's happy to co-exist independently and respect each other's space but would also like to be friends.
