Welcome to our leafy riverside Warburton home.
We have a sunny room coming up mid Feb in our 3 bedroom home. The home sits atop a spacious block with 2 other tiny houses in the middle of the land, beautiful gardens, fruit trees and an abundance of native birds.
The Birrarung river flows right past the bottom of the property... A refuge on the hot days and a meandering path to follow to find many beautiful river spots… Mount Donna Buang spring is just a 15 minute drive away and the surrounding mountains offer an abundance of different forest walks (as well as the most beautiful views). Warburton town is a 10 minute walk or two minute drive from the home.
Our home cultivates a sense of community and connection while also ensuring that there’s space for it to be a restorative sanctuary too. We have fairly involved lives outside the home and value our solo time, but also enjoy spending time fireside in the cooler months, chatting, gardening, dancing and sharing food together. We all make use of the shared creative studio space.
The room is $181.50 a week, bills not included but we are super conscious of our footprint and we have solar panels so electricity can be very cheap. Water bills are currently payed by our landlord.

Two couples in the main house:
Belle (26) I work at a local cafe and spend most of my days, cooking, being creative and consciously slowing down. I’m a little obsessed with the local birdlife (always watching, feeding, and learning who’s who), try my hand at growing flowers, and love being outside soaking up the sun. I’m chatty in the kitchen, creative, and enjoy a home that feels warm and lived-in.
Haydn (24) is the handyman of the house. He works across gardening, nursery work, arboring and trail building, and is usually fixing, building or tinkering with something, often his van or his crafts. He helps out at Upcycles at ECOSS, loves a good chat, and really cares about wildlife. He takes pride in making a home that feels comfortable and cared for.
Neesha (28) She/Her/Fae. I teach yoga and work as a physio, and I’m passionate about improving wellbeing in my community. I enjoy retreating into the wilderness or dropping in at a good festival. I’m always up for shared yoga sesh, communal dinner or a wander in the forest. I enjoy a house that is creative, calm and warm.
Jasper (gremlin) (29) They/Them. Lover of loud music, quiet forests, and a festival dance floor under the stars. I’m a blacksmith and musician, I run my own business making knives, so most days I’m tinkering at my workshop. I enjoy a good chat and shared dinner or wander along the river.
Also on the land is…
Maya (53) is a writer, an avid gardener, tender of the land and devotee of the Birrarung. Her work guides people into deeper sense of place and belonging through writing and movement. She is a lover of dance, mythology, philosophy and passionate discussions of being.
Aeon (39, he/they) is an often dancing, barefoot prancing, visionary rites artist and mythopoetic facilitator. Recently moved to Warby and beginning a gardening odyssey and an even slower pace of life. He has a huge heart, deep emotional intelligence and love of people and story. You will find him painting and drawing by the river and generally wildly in love with existence in all its forms, both horrific and beautiful.
