• Comfortable bed with electric blanket, sheets and pillows provided (happy for you to bring your own if preferred)
• Wall-mounted TV with Google Chromecast — perfect for winding down on chilly winter nights
• Faces the street but features double-glazed windows and block-out curtains for a quiet, restful sleep
The Home:
This is a quiet, safe and genuinely homely house that I’ve owned and lived in for almost 20 years. I raised my two children here, so it’s very much a warm family home rather than a share-house free-for-all.
• Shared kitchen, bathroom, laundry and lounge/dining
• Second toilet and shower located in the laundry for those rare busy moments
• Bedroom 2 is currently occupied (for the next 6 months)
• Bedroom 3 is my study and used occasionally for short-stay visitors
• Ample street parking

About the flatmates
You’ll be sharing the home with me (early 50s) and one other housemate, a quiet engineer in his early 30s who works full-time. He’s friendly and respectful but mostly keeps to himself and tends to spend his downtime in his room.
I work occasionally while pursuing further study and am home fairly often when I’m not away travelling. While I’m warm and approachable, this is a calm, low-key household rather than a social share house.
We are kind, considerate, and friendly people who value independence, personal space, and a peaceful living environment.
This home is ideal for someone completing regional work who is independent, respectful, and looking for a peaceful, fully set-up home for a few months.
To ensure a good fit, applicants will be asked to provide at least one excellent rental reference and to sign a simple house rules agreement.
The house is fully furnished, so unfortunately there’s no space for additional furniture.
Well-trained pets may be considered; however, cats are not suitable for this home.
