The house:
This unique sharehouse is located 10 minutes walk from the Uni. Also walking distance to Stockland Jesmond shopping centre, Aldi and other shops. There is a bus stop 300m from the house taking you directly to the city. The house has 2 bathrooms and a separate toilet. It has a large modern kitchen with gas cooking and plenty of shelf and fridge space. There are two living and dining areas, and a large barbeque deck. We also have an in-house gym and backyard home office! The house is on a large property and is surrounded by a tranquil and leafy garden. You will enjoy much more space and privacy than in many other properties in the area.

About the flatmates
The housemates:
Your housemates will be a friendly crew of Uni students and young professionals. Age range is 20 - 30. There's a mix of males and females, Australian and international.
You will need to be exceptionally clean at all times. There will be a weekly "15 minutes" cleaning duty that is fixed assigned to you - a thorough weekly clean of the bathroom surfaces. Other housemates have other areas of responsibility. This is a fixed part of the contract, and we reserve the right to not extend a lease if the cleaning duty is neglected. You will also need to be clean around the kitchen and other common areas, not leaving stuff out, not leaving dirty dishes in the sink.
It's not a party place, but people are social and love a chat in the kitchen. The house currently has a really good vibe which we want to keep up. Everybody is friendly and welcoming and we respect each other's privacy. Some have been living there for a number of years, as the house offers good value for money in a popular location.
To avoid a constant change of housemates, we are looking for somebody who would like to stay at least 4 months. But saying that, you can leave anytime with 3 weeks notice if needs be. Please send a Flatmates message with a short intro of yourself (or have a Flatmates profile).
