The available room is large, very bright and well-lit, with hardwood floors and a built-in open wardrobe. The house itself is a spacious 3-bed, 2-bath home in a super central location — around 8 minutes to the city, 5 minutes to Curtin Uni, and close to cafes, pubs, shops and a bus stop.

The current setup gives you the entire front wing of the house, while I’m based at the rear. You’d have your own bathroom, your own office, and essentially the dining and living areas to yourself, as I have a separate living space at the back. It’s a great layout if you value privacy and space while still sharing a home.

There’s plenty of off-street parking at the front, plus a lovely little porch that’s perfect for a morning coffee. The property itself is huge, with large front and back yards, big trees and lots of greenery, it really doesn’t feel boxed in.

The house is older, so while it may lack a few modern extras, it more than makes up for it in space, character, location and layout. I’ve lived here for 10 years, absolutely love it, and have just signed on for another two years with locked-in rent. I also know the owner well, so it’s a very stable and secure setup.

The current set up with a couple has worked really well and I'd like to continue that, though may consider a single but the price is the same. Rent includes all bills, Wifi, netflix and basic house cleaning products, washing detergent etc
