A well-located, low-drama household with clear routines and a genuinely good living setup. The home is located along Matilda Bay, giving you waterfront walks literally at your doorstep, while living with people who are busy and respectful. You’ll have a private, furnished room with a double bed, a predictable household rhythm, and the very real possibility of being force fed excellent homemade pizza (plus peak-season MAFS viewing), making it an easy, comfortable place to live.

We’re a relaxed, friendly household made up of three people. Jake and I (Reka) are a couple sharing one room with an ensuite, and Bec has her own room. The new flatmate will have a private bedroom with a double bed frame and mattress (the frame has great storage underneath) and will share the main bathroom with Bec.
I’m a full-time student and work part-time as a nurse at the Children’s Hospital. I’m home most days studying, but I’m usually out most evenings. In my downtime I love going for walks along Matilda Bay, which is literally right outside our front door.
Jake works from home running his own business. He’s recently bought a pizza oven and loves making homemade pizzas — you’ll likely be force fed pizza while living here.
Bec also works as a nurse at the Children’s Hospital and works full-time shift work. At times she can be on night shifts for a month at a time, so we just ask for general courtesy when she’s sleeping during the day — though to be fair, she sleeps like a log and we’ve all accidentally slammed a door once or twice!
Our lease runs out in April, at which point Jake, Bec and I will be moving out. If you’re interested in extending the lease beyond that, there may be an opportunity to do so, but this would need to be discussed directly with the real estate agent once you move in.
Carport will be shared between 3 cars, which we have done comfortably before.
P.S: We are a Married At First Sight household, and you’ll likely be moving in during peak MAFS season… you’ve been warned!
