Large fully furnished home (2 storeys) with lots of space indoors and out -- 2 lounge rooms, three outdoor areas to sit, read, have a coffee, relax, dine. Large bedroom (double bed) with built in wardrobe. Very large chef's kitchen -- including six hotplate stove, very large bench with cafe stools (definitely big enough to have most of your meals, although there is a table and six chairs as well)!
Two bathrooms - large double basin one upstairs with bath and shower. Smaller one downstairs with single basin and shower.
Tiled floors in bathrooms and kitchen, wooden floorboards everywhere else.
Air conditioning in all bedrooms and kitchen/dining area although rarely used as the house is comfortable year round.
Solar panels are installed to the house.
I am a busy person and hopefully so are you. I see the home as a place of rest and relaxation.
Suit person 45+ years (like me). I have travelled extensively, so know first hand what it's like to travel, especially for long periods.
About Subiaco:
Excellent location. Subiaco has been voted the most liveable suburb in Australia, for good reason. It is a lively heritage inner city suburb, with beautiful streets and parks. Kings Park, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, University of Western Australia, Rokeby Road shopping/facilities, many cafes and restaurants, several gyms (eg Lords), public transport (both rail and bus), the Subiaco Arts Centre (which also has picnic facilities and free gas BBQ), the Saturday morning farmers markets and the Regal Theatre are within walking distance. Coming from the airport during the day? Consider the airport train. Information at www.transport.wa.gov.au.
Supermarkets such as Coles, Woolworths, Farmer Jacks and Golden Choice no more than a 10-15 minute walk.
There is a free purple CAT bus nearby.
