It has canal frontage and it is on the ground floor. So it feels quite lush - beautiful sun light in the morning, on the back patio.
The room for rent is furnished with a queen bed, bedside table and has large built-in cupboards and there is plenty of other storage space throughout house & garage.
Your room gets a beautiful afternoon sun and you can sunbake canal side for the mornings. It's joy as we are facing a direction to get to watch the full moon rise - always a delight!
Unit complex is super safe - and the neighbours all look out for each other.
Shared bathroom with just myself and one other - the rest of the house is homely, easy to maintain and the kitchen & living area is roomy.

About the flatmates
Hi,
Large room available in a large three-bedroom, ground floor unit with Canal frontage - walking distance to the Esplanade & beach. The room is only available for short-term at the moment as I have family visiting from overseas end of April.
You'll be sharing the unit with myself - 36yo Full time USC student & Outreach Worker and one other woman. I am an early bird but work late nights & most weekends - head to the gym when I can and am looking forward to more surfing & adventures over the summer.
I appreciate transparency and honesty in a housemate as well as mutual respect - tidying up after our own selves and being respectful towards what each other has on.
Possible use of the garage is available as well... Plenty of storage space in garage and throughout house.
I am reasonably social & active but do enjoy coming home to my safe space. Always up for a bit of banter but do like to have my wind down time after stressy shifts and may hide away in my room.
The unit complex is quiet and the neighbours super friendly - only 4 of the 8 units are lived in full-time. The others are holiday rentals or AirBnBs.
I am looking for caring, considerate and responsible housemates that will treat the property and neighbourhood with respect.
