A lovely opportunity has opened up in my Mooloolaba home, as my flatmate is sadly moving away. I’m now looking for the right person to share this relaxed, peaceful space with.
I’m in my late 50s and live a calm, easy-going lifestyle. I work as a Montessori teacher Monday to Thursday, with my little classroom located at the back of the property (completely separate from the main house).
This isn’t just a place to sleep — it’s a genuine home. If you value warmth, connection, and a peaceful space to unwind at the end of the day, this may be the perfect fit.
About the Room & Home
• Large, spacious, fully furnished air-conditioned room
• New king-sized bed, TV, sideboard, and bedside table
• Private ensuite bathroom
(shared during work hours Monday–Thursday, 8am–4pm)
• Huge, sunny outdoor entertaining area with a bar — perfect for relaxing or entertaining
• Bring your own linen and towels to make the space your own
Who I’m Looking For
• Single person only (no couples)
• Must have, or be willing to obtain, a Blue Card
• Ideally someone around my age (but not a deal-breaker)
• Kind, tidy, respectful, and employed full-time outside the home
I’m looking for someone who wants a space that truly feels like home — calm, welcoming, and comfortable — rather than just a place to rent.
