Room available in Annandale share house! 🏠
We have a lovely room available in our Annandale share house.
The room 🛏: the room is the largest room in the house, with a balcony and walk in wardrobe. There is an option to buy furniture off our previous housemate who is sadly leaving to move back to Melbourne. It is room 2 on the floor plan. (Have used photos of the room from online as are waiting for pics from current housemate).
Rent 💸: the rent is $400/week, paid every fortnight. Bond is 4 weeks rent. Bills are approximately $50 per month.
The house 🌳: the house is on a quiet street, located only 150m from local cafes, a bus stop to the city, local pubs, and an IGA. It is a short walk to the Blackwattle Bay loop and tramsheds/ the lightrail. It is a 25 minute walk to USyd. There is unrestricted on-street parking. The house has a large modern kitchen, and all of the living areas in the house are furnished. We have most appliances, including a dishwasher, washer, dryer, tv, fridge. There is no air conditioning or heating, but we have portable units we turn on when needed. The communal areas in the house are cleaned professionally once per fortnight, with no extra cost to you for this. The house does not have step-free access. The living room and kitchen are open plan, leading out onto a large deck which is great for entertaining.
About us 🌺: you will be living with 3.5 others.
Myself 👩 (27) - recently finished my PhD and am currently working full time in science at the university. I'm a hammer thrower and spend a lot of time in the gym when I'm not in the lab, also love reading and playing scrabble.
Jackson 🧑(29 - my partner) - works full time in finance, very well-read and loves dogs, has only beaten me once in scrabble.
Jack 🧑 (31) - definitely the coolest member of our house (rides a motorbike and surfs), works full time, and likes to play guitar.
Moose 🐶 (1 year) - full time border collie, loves to chew, overall a very well behaved boy. Loves chasing a ball, splashing in his water bowl, eating treats, and playing with other dogs. Unfortunately, Moose does loves to chew so nothing left out will be safe from him. Can't read so can't play scrabble 🙁
About you 🍁: Most importantly you must like dogs. We are looking for someone who is happy to hang out and have a chat after work, and relatively chill and relaxed. We are easy going and productive people with a low level of maintenance required. We are looking for someone who has good communication and is happy to chat and give ideas about how to improve the house so we can make the place the best for everyone. You are ideally a similar age to us (25-35 ish), and working or studying full time. We would prefer a man but are open to anyone. Feel free to send me a message if our house sounds right for you!
