This is an all female non-smoking, no parties, drugs or alcohol household. I am looking for a single female housemate who is quiet, friendly, clean, neat and tidy; You will be sharing with me and two other tenants. We would prefer a working professional who has had experience renting in a shared house or apartment, so would understand the etiquette and courtesies required to live harmoniously in a friendly and respectful home. We are originally from Malaysia, however, I personally have lived in Australia for more than 40 years.
I also have a very friendly and good natured, low shedding 4 year old Bordoodle (Border Collie/Poodle cross). She is fully toilet trained and irresistably cute! She loves people and will always be happy to see you and welcome you home. So you'll need to be comfortable with living with a dog in the house.
I mostly work from home, but also occasionally go into office. My housemates are all working professionals and have early starts to their working day, so we try to keep noise in the evenings to a minimum. We are respectful, quiet and easy going, social and enjoy a chat but will respect your privacy. We give each other plenty of space, do our own thing most days. We don't drink or smoke and are generally clean and tidy. I also enjoy a good movie, a good laugh and love cooking and music. Periodically, my adult children and grandaughter visit me on weekends when we have family meals together but most of the time the house is mainly me and the housemates, so its quite peaceful and quiet.
We would expect that you would contribute to keeping the common areas clean and tidy, especially the kitchen and laundry, which is used a lot, so you would be expected to promptly clean up after yourself after using the kitchen. Common sense would dictate also that periodically where needed to take the garbage out, if the kitchen bin is full, or the recyclables out if the recyclables are full. I would also expect that you would maintain the cleanliness of your bedroom and the upstairs space including the bathroom/toilet. A list of house rules will be provided.
If you are someone who will feel comfortable in this environment and this sounds like a place you could call home, or would like to know more, I would love to hear from you
