About the property

Your room is well equipped.
There is a split screen monitor, a new double mattress, ample storage and high-speed internet.
While the kitchen is small and modest - all mod-cons are available - A juicer, blenders, air fryer and microwave are available.
However, due to the small size and a lack of a provided exhaust/ range hood, light-cooking or blending would be best.

You'll also get a housemate who's low energy, loves his home and wants someone who is keen on making a connection and happy to help out with "dad" chores.

Ideally the rent is for four months (as I often have family and friends from abroad visiting) but happy to negotiate a shorter stay.

Reference from a former female housemate can be provided.

About the flatmates

Hi,

My name is Vern.
I'm 45 and work in the upper north shore in a small pharmaceutical company in a commercial role.
I am recently separated home-owner and take great pride in my home and now, my rental property. I spend a lot of time at work and when not at work I will be at my daughter's place located in the same suburb.
I work from home on Thursday and Fridays and most of my weekends will be spent with my daughter. I have been described as being thoughtful, creative and curious and half-introverted and half-extroverted (housemate dependent).
The reason why I have only requested for females is due to my daughter being neuro-diverse and fears men. While she lives full time with my ex, she will want to come and chill with me every now and then - the rent reflects her occasional presence.
