About the property
This house is amazing. Set in the lush surrounds of Newport we are completely surrounded by 360 degrees of nature. I'll let the pictures do the talking.
She's pricey - but she's worth it ; > The rent on this place is higher but just look at it. We have access to big spaces. The dining room can be separated off from the rest of the house (we will be purchasing a dining table shortly), and both rooms can be separated from the hallway which leads to the bedrooms. The view from the front balcony setting is gorgeous. Fantastic to have coffees and meals out there. We can also share the study (pictured with desks - in the process of decorating).
My partner and I are currently looking for some new flatmates to fill this 5 bedroom house. G is a massage therapist and barista, and work in the healing world. We have a separate studio on the ground floor which we work from a few days per week. Other days we're out at other locations (studio space is just for us at this stage, sorry!).
Local coffee shop is 15 mins walk away, and both Mona Vale and Newport shops around about 5 mins drive away (MV is about 25 min walk). We chose this house because it's quiet and private. So probably suited to someone with a car.
We're currently considering multiple options for the room / rent depending on who we meet and what everyone's wanting.
We may just rent out one room, or we may rent out two.
Room 1: Pictured with the mustard blanket. Rent $500. Couple $600-$700
What we do with the second room will be determined by what we do with the first.
If the person / people we meet for room 1 would like there to be less people and would prefer to have room 2 as a share space for reading / musical instruments etc (an extra room for relaxing) then we can all pay a little more and share that room between us.
If we're happy to have more people here and all pay a little less rent each then we can rent out that second room.

About the flatmates
Ideally we’re looking for flatmates closer to our age 30 +. Good conversations, easy to get along with, positive, flexible (funny is always a plus), and who wants to contribute to the eco system of a house. We have our own lives but also want to all enjoy each others company when we're all around. Also way past house awkwardness so just looking for honest, open, easy and friendly ; >
We're fairly health conscious (chocolate's healthy, right?) - we walk, go the the gym, we do the things. We're vego. Probably prefer flatmates who were vego if possible, but not a deal breaker (unless you have an undying passion for bacon). Most of the time we're very basic when home. Love reading, movies, our cats and good coffee. Definitely not party people but happy to have people over here and there for socialising.
Also being a cat lover is a MUST. We have Humphrey, Hazel and Charlie, and they're the best. So if you love animals being all up in your business you'll be very happy here. But there'll be certain things we need to do to keep them safe ie door closing etc. so if you don't absolutely love animals this place is not for you!
