We have a spacious granny flat/studio apartment available at the rear of our beautiful North Ward / Stanton Hill Queenslander house. The room is very private and quiet, set down in the tropical gardens at the rear of the property.

NBN Broadband with Max Boost speed, gas & electricity are all included and the garden is taken care of for you.

The house is nestled away in a very quiet street on the edge of Castle Hill. If you enjoy walking the Hill then it's right at your doorstep. It’s also walking distance from the City, galleries, theatres, Event Cinemas, the beach at The Strand, Gregory St. café and retail precinct, Flinders St. CBD shopping and Palmer St. restaurants. It’s a couple of hundred metres from the nearest bus stop, close to other public transport such as Magnetic Island Ferry Terminal and the interstate bus terminal

The room is very large and fully furnished and has it’s own full size en-suite with shower, toilet and vanity / sink. The ceilings are high, there’s a modern, heritage style fan and air-conditioning. The large built in wardrobe provides you plenty of storage space and the casement windows and French doors provide ample ventilation and cross cooling. There’s a verandah that overlooks the tropical garden and is a lovely place to sit in the afternoon.

The flat has a kitchenette that is fully equipped including a convection microwave oven so roasts and cakes are certainly possible if you wish. The kitchen opens to the verandah and is shared with just one other granny flat so no great competition for it’s use. There’s also a laundry with two washing machines and ample, covered clothes line space. The covered line is great! It means your clothes won’t fade in the sun and you don’t have to race out and bring the clothes in if it rains.

If you enjoy walking up Castle Hill for exercise then this is perfect as Castle Hill is at our doorstep and there’s certainly no need to drive.

It's a great location, close to everything yet nestled away, quiet and very private.
