About the property
Hey! Looking for a flatmate to take the second room. I'm considering moving in Oct to go overseas so if you love the place I'm happy for you to take over the lease and change to my room (bigger) when I leave.
The current available room has a wardrobe and a fan- also has a large window so is bright. It's not a huge room but will fit a queen bed (snug but doable).
My favourite part about the actual unit is it's view of the escarpment from the lounge/balcony- the sunsets are unreal.
The bathroom is shared- has a bath (which you will have to fight me for in winter) and a shower. I don't even own a hairdryer so promise I won't spend hours in the bathroom.
Kitchen is fully equipped and you are welcome to most of my things. I tend to bulk cook twice a week so won't take up lots of space in the kitchen if you love to cook!
I have a great data plan so don't actually have WiFi set up- but I have a modem so all you need to do is set up a plan if you want WiFi. Only other bill is electricity and split that would be roughly $50 extra a month.
Just take note- this is not a large unit and there isn't any extra storage space outside of the room so ideally needs to be someone with minimal things. There is extra storage in the garage if you need it. There is lots of street parking but I don't use the garage so that is available for your car.
If you haven't lived in Corrimal before- it is great. Has multiple gyms, Aldi/Woolworths/Coles all a few hundred metres away. Great restaurants and cafes and the beach is only a 5 minute drive away.
*It is on the fourth floor so if you hate stairs this place is not for you.

About the flatmates
A little bit about myself- I am a Physio in my early 30s who works in Public Health. I am an "extroverted" introvert- I absolutely love my job but it does mean that when I come home I desperately need some quiet time to wind down and relax. I also have a cat named Frankie who is an elderly queen- loving cats is a must as she runs the place.
I love being outside to exercise and spend my weekends swimming, hiking, or camping. When I am home however I am an absolute nanna- by 9pm the lights are dimmed and I am reading or doing yoga etc. I still love a glass of wine and have an excessive gin collection. At home I aim to reduce animal product consumption so try to play with vegan recipes but I am pretty lax when I am out. Definitely happy to share the occasional meal and a glass of wine!
I love this unit- it is my peaceful space so am looking for someone who is after a similar quiet vibe. I'm an annoyingly light sleeper so if you're a night owl or want a party space then I'm afraid this is not going to be your vibe. I'm also not here to be someone's Mum so being tidy & clean is a must. Ideally want someone a similar age- late 20s to 30s.
It is a small space so being respectful and comfortable with each other is important to me. I'm aware I may sound a bit sassy- but I'm genuinely very friendly. I just want to set boundaries so I don't waste you're time if this isn't what you're looking for.
