A little about me… and Heidi 🐾

Hi, I’m Nicole, and I come as a little package deal with my Mini Schnauzer, Heidi.

We’re looking for somewhere that feels like home, rather than simply somewhere to live — a relaxed, comfortable household with kind people, easy conversation and plenty of respect for each other’s space.

I’m fairly quiet at home and love having somewhere peaceful to recharge. I’m very happy doing my own thing, but equally love a cuppa and a chat in the kitchen or sharing the occasional meal. I think the best homes have that lovely balance — connection when it happens naturally, and space when you need it.

I’m currently studying part-time, working part-time for myself and helping care for my elderly father. When I’m not doing that, you’ll usually find me out walking or hiking with Heidi, at the beach, spending time with family and friends, or finding something new to explore. I’m clean, tidy, considerate and respectful of the home I live in.

And then there’s Heidi — quite possibly the better half of this application.

She’s a friendly, happy little soul who loves people and is great with other animals. She has lived happily with dogs both big and small, as well as cats. She’s groomed, non-shedding, doesn’t bark excessively and spends most of her time with me, including coming along on many of my adventures.

I have my own bed and only a small amount of furniture and personal belongings, which I’m happy to downsize or store if needed.

I can provide excellent references from previous landlords, as well as personal references and references from people I’ve house and pet sat for.

I’d also be very open to teaming up with the right person to find a beautiful home together.

Ultimately, Heidi and I are looking for a peaceful, friendly place where we can settle in and feel at home — and hopefully be the kind of housemates who make it feel a little more like home for everyone else too.
