Hi, I’m Nita, 32 years old, originally from Indonesia.

I’m a clean and tidy person who really respects other people’s privacy and personal space. I’m looking for a clean home with a nice room and easy-going landlord or flatmates.

I rarely cook, but when I do, I enjoy inviting a few friends over for lunch or dinner. Because of that, I’d love to live somewhere where occasional visitors are welcome. That said, I won’t have people over often as I’m usually busy with work and also value my personal time. I like a good balance between social and quiet.

I don’t smoke or drink alcohol, but I’m comfortable living with flatmates who do, as long as smoking is outside (for example, on the balcony). I’m also okay with a social or party house, as long as it’s not happening every weekend.

Ideally, I prefer a home without kids or pets.

Sometimes I like to relax on the couch in the living room. I don’t really watch TV (I actually haven’t watched TV for almost a year, I just use my phone), so I’d prefer a home where the living room isn’t used as a bedroom. Most of the time, though, I’ll be in my room you might barely even notice I’m home.

My budget is up to $370 per week. Ideally, I’m looking for a place with a car space (garage or 24-hour street parking), an ensuite bathroom, and a built-in wardrobe. If these features aren’t available, I’m open to negotiation, especially if I feel comfortable with the home and flatmates and can stay long-term.

Note: I’m quite tired of doing direct inspections as they take a lot of time, energy, and budget. Since many things can be done online nowadays, I’m hoping to find an open-minded landlord or flatmate who’s happy to do an inspection via video call or share a video tour of the room and house first.
If I like it, I’m more than happy to come for an in-person inspection before moving in. As we all know, photos and reality can be very different.

If an online inspection isn’t possible, it may be difficult for me to attend a direct inspection.
