Hello lovely humans

We are Shaz and Joe, mid-30s Gold Coast locals looking for a place to call home around the mid to south end of the Gold Coast. Our budget is max $650/week: We are looking for two rooms to be used as a bedroom and a separate office space, and a private bathroom. Secured storage is a must, as well as off-street parking for a van.

We are also interested in teaming up with another couple/ two singles to find a whole house to rent. Our move date is flexible (minimum 4 weeks notice to leave our current place).

A little about us... I am a 31-year-old full-time veterinary nurse, currently working from home in an administrative capacity. My partner of three years, Joe, 39, works FIFO in the energy sector.

Joe & I are a quiet and respectful couple who take great pride in our living space. We appreciate a clean, tidy, and well-maintained home, and you can trust us to treat your property with the utmost care and respect. We’re both passionate about nature and enjoy spending our free time outdoors, whether it's surfing, hiking, or simply appreciating the local environment. We are both lovers of coffee, weekend picnics, board games, and hosting delicious dinners, and are excited to make a place feel like home.

We are seeking a home that embraces wellness, connection, and low-tox living. Communication is of high value to us, and we are seeking housemates who are also comfortable discussing expectations and boundaries with openness and care. While we do respect the need for downtime and privacy, we do want to join a home where connection and community are valued, and friends are welcome.

We value a clean house and would like to live with people who are respectful of keeping shared spaces tidy, and partake in a regular cleaning roster and house maintenance. Recycling/ composting/considerate consumption and low use of chemicals are important to us. We're generally always up for a chat, whether it’s philosophy, technology, food, self-development, sharing a funny story, etc.
