I'm currently living in a shared house in Hamilton South, having moved to Newcastle 5 years ago. I'm looking for a single room in a house for myself and my dog.

I work full time as a mechanic. On weekends usually spend time exercising, reading and cooking. Don't drink much my weekends are usually pretty quiet, mostly relaxing and enjoying down time.

My dog Ziggy is cattle dog cross and 5 years old. She has always lived in the city and can handle a kennel in the backyard. I'm aware she is a working breed and always give her the exercise and mental stimulation she needs.
She can handle herself while I'm at work. I'll give her a frozen bone most days and always leave a ball to chew on

Looking for 6 month min stay & would prefer to live with others that are 20s but flexible on that.

Need a place by 21st June & will need to give 2 weeks notice to my current landlord.
